


Stanford's most recent graduates left campus abruptly, as COVID-19 began to reshape life in California and around the world. Here they reflect on the unconventional end to their college careers, the experiences that shaped their growth on the Farm, and that the change they hope to effect in a world confronting pandemic, climate change, rising inequality and racial injustice -- among other crises. "My cohort has lived through really obvious examples of a lot of the problems in American society," Sophia Helfand says, "[But] I think that if each of us tackles them from a unique standpoint, we have so many diverse skillsets, change will happen."
