Delayed Confessions

Neglected by her father and persecuted by her stepmother, Cindy Clark finds herself with no way out and resorts to forcing a marriage with Jason Gray, a powerful figure in River City. On their wedding day, Jason discovers that Cindy was not a virgin before marriage, leading him to believe she has a promiscuous lifestyle. After carrying the child for ten months, Cindy gives birth, signs the divorce papers, and leaves with nothing. Years later, Cindy returns to River City with her child.
