What started as a simple rock song turned into something never experienced before. Some of you might have heard this song at Coke Fest in 2020. Initially, Ahsan Pervez, Kami Paul, and Kumail Jafferey had written this song with me, and we thought it was done and final. After that, my life took a different turn. In between periods of darkness, I got the opportunity to meet Hamid Ali Naqeebi. He is something else—another being from another planet. The more I met him, the more I realized there is something so real and spiritual about him that I can’t quite put my finger on. He is one of those people who just exude peace. When he heard "Nai Marna," he was a bit disappointed. He looked at me and asked, "Why so gloomy" I had nothing to say. He said he could write something for this song, and I was like, "Sure." I remember him coming to the studio in my house and then telling me to leave, saying he’d call me when the song was done. When I heard the song, I knew my life had changed forever.
