The Life of Onions

A film about common objects and actions inspired by the work of Charles and Ray Eames, the poetry of Francis Ponge, and Georges Perec's notion of "infra ordinary." The small wonders of a concertina, the stubbornness of a turntable, the demise of an onion being peeled. A visual counterpart to the live show of musician Amy Kohn, premiered at Brooklyn's Issue Project Room on December 22, 2007.
