A detective from Florida to California to be with his son because his wife and him split he also has to deal with the fact that a case he was working on where a soldiers mother is killed by a Russian drug lord who happened to be in the wrong place at the wrong time and the case just so happens to be in Los Angeles where is wife Rebecca and his son Nico is but what he least expected was to meet the mothers some Yager Thompson a sarcastic special ops soldier who had just gotten back from Iraq he also doesn't know but the mayor has given him the right away to start a special ops law enforcement team at any time he wants and that those two might be partners.
