It's 2012, Spain is suffering intensely at the hands of the financial crisis. It's the 'year of the abyss'. Meanwhile, just a few feet under at the notorious Jamboree Jazz Club of Barcelona, a hundred young musicians stand against the despair. Breathtakingly talented but under the radar, they are struggling now as others have struggled in the past. TheWTF is close to disappearing. For Pere Ferrer, one of the first musicians that played at Jamboree in 1959, this doesn't come by surprise; he has inaugurated and ended many clubs over his lifetime. Along with Wally Besser, the other only survivor of Jamboree's first band, the seniors offer a fresh perspective, talking about the old times, where Franco's dictatorship oppressed and restricted in other ways.
