'Bring Me Home' is a touching and bittersweet piece about an older couple who are affected by the wife's deteriorating health. At her urging, the husband goes on a journey to the site of their honeymoon to collect an item which represents aspects of their relationship lost to the debilitating illness. Whilst fictional, the film aims to raise awareness for the anguish such diseases cause in people's lives, asking the viewer to reflect on the subject but without 'preaching' to them. The film will balance the upset of loss with the joy of having lived a life together coupled with a sense of hope.
