Another Day

The bad guy takes center stage while the nice guys become supporting characters in a romantic "raunch-com" that takes inspiration from films such as Swingers, Good Will Hunting, and Forgetting Sarah Marshall. Based in 1999, Another Day tells the story of Derrick, a crude, womanizing twenty-something who spends his days chasing women, and his nights telling his disapproving friends about his conquests over coffee and cigarettes at the local diner. When Derrick begins a friendship with Amber, essentially a female version of himself, we finally learn of the traumatic past that led Derrick to bed as many women as possible through feelings of regret and hate, towards others as well as himself. Will Derrick and Amber help each other to become the versions of themselves they're meant to be? The answer will surprise you in the long overdue coming-of-age redemption story of Another Day.
