Anata ga Shite Kurenakute mo

32-year-old Yoshino Michi works in the sales department of a construction company and lives a normal but comfortable life. She is on good terms with her husband Yoichi, save for one issue: they haven't had sex in two years. She's frustrated that despite her efforts to rekindle what they once had, Yoichi always seems indifferent and so it always ends with disappointing results. As the distance between them grows ever more insurmountable, they drift apart emotionally and the couple's relationship gradually deteriorates. Michi finds solace after confiding in her senior co-worker and boss Niina Makoto, who is surprisingly in a similar situation with his wife Kaede. He has a brilliant work ethic and has many fans around the workplace due to his handsome face. His wife Kaede has just become the deputy editor of a fashion magazine. She spends her days sacrificing her private life to focus on her work. Michi and Makoto end up bonding over their shared pain and give advice and support to one another. Both grow closer in their wish to salvage their own marriages, but is there any remaining passion left to reignite?
