Cassidy Zabel, the general's daughter, falls for her bodyguard, Edmund Spencer, unaware that he is the crown prince who's in love with her half-sister, Marilyn Zabel. Heartbroken after he throws her into a bandit camp just because of Marilyn's complaint, Cassidy asks the emperor to marry her off to Bellaros.
