The Color of the Heart

A biracial woman who deals with her ambiguous racial identity and a disturbing secret in her family's past. Upon meeting a Caucasian man from a small town with his own prejudices, they fall in love. He assumes she is white because of the fairness of her skin and the struggle begins. She is sent on a turbulent, emotional journey. She struggles with an internal battle between the love for her brother and her love for the man. She finds strength in discovering that there is only one color of the heart.
