Far more than just an alternative farming concept - the potato combine between encouraging vision and sobering reality Over a period of nine years, the documentary accompanies the Kartoffelkombinat from Munich on its way to becoming Germany's largest solidarity-based agriculture. With their vegetable cultivation, however, the two founders are pushing ahead with a much bigger idea: to find an alternative to the capitalist mode of production. But the road there is rocky and suddenly the project is on the brink of failure.
